Ivan Rakitic keeps giving you talk. The Croatian has granted an interview for Sky Deutschland in which he has spoken of his future. The Croatian midfielder ensures that he feels comfortable at FC Barcelona and wants to fulfill what is left of his contract, which ends in the summer of 2021.
On the rumours of handover that have emerged in recent months, Rakitic once again made his intentions clear: "I'm used to it. I have been in Barcelona for six years and have listened to them for all of them. I always try to remember that football is not just a sport but a little more and sometimes it's better to laugh at it. The most important thing is that I'm fine and I get along with the coach and the club. I still have a contract until 2021 and when I sign I always intend to respect it until the end. If I can't fulfill my contract for any reason, we'll sit down and talk about it. But at the moment I am very happy in Barcelona."
The return to the training of the League teams has been a breath of fresh air for many footballers. The Croatian recounts his experience: "It was my first day outdoors after two months at home, and it was a fun and a little strange feeling to drive in gloves, with the mask… It's a new situation for us, but it must be respected. I want to enjoy the moment and be ready to play if we are allowed to do it."
Statements with the intention of calming the waters after his interview for Mundo Deportivo in which he stated that it will be he who "decides his future".
